The Day I Knew I Was Done
I still remember the day medicine stopped feeling like medicine. A young woman in her thirties sat across from me, her labs showing prediabetes. She wanted to know how to turn things around. What she got instead was a rushed visit and a handout—because the system didn’t give me the time she deserved.
That moment stayed with me. It revealed what’s broken in healthcare: prevention gets pushed aside until patients are “sick enough.” I knew I had to build something different, care that’s transparent, personal, and focused on keeping you well.
